Our office takes the safety & well-being of our patients, staff, doctors & community very seriously.

Other Friendly Reminders:

  • face masks with exhalation valve are not acceptable
  • Our office does not accept any walk-in patient &
  • Our office does not accept any substitution of patient

 

  • We have implemented measures to enhance social distancing with reduced patient flow & volume.
  • Amid COVID-19 pandemic, in order to adhere to social distancing restriction & to maintain a high level of screening & disinfection protocol, our clinic volume is greatly reduced; please be prepared that the wait list for scheduling an appointment will be relatively longer.
  • Our office has greatly heightened disinfection protocols & restructured our office space, in order to maintain a balance between safety & comfort for all of our patients:
  1. Multiple Air Purifiers  are positioned at different sections of our office
  2. Multiple Sneeze Guards have been installed across our reception counter; sneeze guards have been installed in our Pre-test room to provide additional barrier between our patients & staff during computerized testings
  3. Disposable Gloves will be worn by doctors & staff; the gloves will be changed between each patient's encounter;
  4. Health Screening questionnaires to be filled & signed by each patient
  5. Hand Sanitizer stations are available inside our office
  6. Multiple kinds of Disinfectant have been purchased : Lysol (liquid & wipes & peroxide & bleach), Cavicide, Pine Sol, Alcohol (liquid & wipes & spray), Hydrogen Peroxide (3% and 6%), diluted bleach
  7. ONLY the individual with booked appointment will be allowed to enter our office (exception applies for situations such as when legal guardian or translator is required); Only one patient with scheduled appointment will be invited into our office at a time to enhance social distancing; the driver or escort may return at a later time to pick up the individual or may choose to wait outside of our office

  • For retail OTC products, we will only accept phone-in orders to arrange for future curbside pick-up. **NO walk-in for retail products will be permitted**
  • Our office currently does not provide any new contact lens training (teach) &/or fitting session temporarily;
  • We understand your health condition may change between the time of booking & the actual consult date; please give us a call to reschedule if you have fallen ill or if you suspect so; we appreciate your honest act to help to protect everyone in our office & our community; we believe in mutual respect & trust, as we are in this together.
  • We ask all patients who have any of the following conditions NOT to come into our office, but to consult their general physician or Telehealth Ontario (@ 1-866-797-0000) for medical advice: cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, difficulty breathing, diarrhea &/or vomiting; or if you have recently contacted any COVID-19 positive individual(s); or if your household family members have COVID-19 symptoms; or if you have any recent travel history out of the country

Routine Eye Examination is very important to people of all ages, for "Prevention is always Better than Cure".


Do not neglect Eye Examination for Children! Good vision is vital for good learning at school. Do not wait until your child tells you they cannot see properly in school, before you call us for their first eye examination! OHIP covers Children's Eye Exams up to 19 years old!
